The Lele Maasai lands are those between Kajiado, Amboseli and the Rift Valley. To a large extent the Maasai in this area still live a largely traditional Maasai life, living in manyatta's, working the herds where fences are rare!
Experience the wide open gravel and single tracks forged by the movement of Maasai feet, cows and goats.

Organised by David Carroll of bikesandgear.net and the Neylan family we are offering a new 2 day gravel race to be held on the 26-27th located in and around the Lele Maasai lands in II'Bisil, Kajiado.
Day 1
The race village is 2 hour drive from NBO at Lucy and Russell Neylans farm just 10 minutes drive East of II'Bisil town. Arriving at lunchtime you will enjoy a yummy lunch provided by Lucy, a renown safari chef.
The first race is a SPRINT TIME TRAIL of 27.4km and 400m of climbing where you will start from 3pm at 2 minute intervals. The route is wide open double gravel tracks, single track boda routes and two technical river crossings. The last rider will finish in time to sink a refreshingly cold soda / beers / G&T and enjoy the sun setting passed the Maparasha Hills.
Safari style showers and toilets, and tents pitches will be provided in indigenous bush environment (bring your own tents). You will enjoy a totally delicious and nutritious evening meal followed by refreshments and GC ceremony on hay bails around a roaring camp fire. Country and western music will be the vibe of the evening to keep you entertained!
